Our film aims to tell the story of gender expression through performances like drag, pageantry and body building. Our current cut of the film only features drag, but our final version plans to expand into body building and pageantry. Gender is unique and can be expressed in variety of ways, each of these art forms can affirm or defy social gender norms. Our film wants to dive deep into how performing gender impacts performers, and how it may help with self confidence, personhood, and individuality.
